Who we are
A label, not a factory

Lowercase started in 2018 in a Greenpoint basement with one borrowed tape machine, a stack of blank sleeves, and a stubborn belief that good records still find their people.

Eight years on, the room is bigger and the catalog runs to twenty-four titles — but the rule hasn't changed. We sign a handful of artists, we put real time into every record, and we never ask anyone to chase a trend they don't believe in.

Every master stays with the artist. Every release gets a physical pressing. And every record on this page is one we'd happily play for a friend.

PEOPLE RUNNING IT
How we work
The deal
01

You keep your masters

Always. We license, we don't own. If you leave, your catalog leaves with you — no clauses, no clawbacks.

02

Splits you can read

A one-page agreement, a transparent revenue split, and statements every quarter you can actually understand.

03

Records that exist

Every signing gets a physical pressing — vinyl, tape, or both — plus art, mastering, and a real release plan.

Send us a demo.

We listen to everything. Not a label-night networking thing — actual people, actually pressing play. If it's right for the room, you'll hear from us.
